1 Hour Hike + 1 Hour Lesson = 2 Hours
Who Am I:
Hi, I’m Ashley. I am an artist, and I love nature. Painting has always been my outlet for self expression. When I release expectations of a specific outcome in my artwork, I am able to experience wabi-sabi, the Japanese aesthetic of accepting imperfection. A walk in the woods connects me to nature and my creative process. The natural world is continually blooming in my work.
What we’ll do:
We will begin with introductions. After which, we will take a walk and notice our surroundings along the way. Once we arrive at our resting spot, I will give an introduction to our artistic process. We will use watercolor, pencils and pens to create an art piece. Once we’ve finished, we will walk back to our meeting point. Your artwork will journey home with you.
Activity Level : Easy Walking + Sitting

Ages 7 and up can join in this experience.
Be prepared:
Bring water, wear active clothing and layers, and sunblock.
